ADVENT Week #2 — PEACE…. Want a little more peace in your life? Try this:
1. BEGIN your day with a 20-minute period of peace..Call it whatever you like, prayer, meditation, the silence, peaceful moments. Get up a little earlier than usual. You can read inspirational stuff or focus on a positive statement like “I walk in the light of God and all is well.” Try listening to some quiet music. Stay in a private area where you will not be disturbed. Focus on your breathing, just like you were doing some exercise like squats, pushups, situps, lunges. Breathing is exercise. You will be amazed at how good it feels to breathe deeply for 20 minutes.
Then….. 2. CHECK IN every hour throughout the day. Set your watch to alert you and in that moment, do the same thing for just 30 seconds…if every hour is too much, then set the alarm for two or three hours. Scientific Prayer will enable you, sooner or later, to get yourself, or anyone else, out of any difficulty on the face of the earth. It is the Golden Key to harmony and happiness. To those who have no acquaintance with the mightiest power in existence, this may appear to be a rash claim, but it needs only a fair trial to prove that, without a shadow of doubt, it is a just one.
