This Is Hate

On January 27, we celebrate the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1945. It is not exactly a celebration but more of a REMEMBRANCE. We must remember that hate can grow at any time, in any place. And by remembering, we teach ourselves to STAND WATCH, ready to stand for justice, peace, and equality. For if we do NOT stand watch, then the words of Martin Niemoller (1892-1984) will be ringing in our heads……
First They Came
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
